Veterinary Surgeons

Dr Aleksandra Kozacinski DVM MRCVS

Aleksandra graduated from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of University of Zagreb (Croatia) in 2017. After graduation, Aleksandra relocated to the UK to start her career and has been working as a small animal vet since.


Aleksandra has a special interest in Cardiology and has obtained a General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Cardiology in May 2022.

Aleksandra prides herself on providing the best care for her patients.

In her free time, Aleksandra enjoys traveling, spending time with her two cats and taking care of 100+ house plants.

Keauno photo

Dr Keauno Renford BVetMed MRCVS

Keauno studied at the Royal Veterinary College and graduated in 2020. He spent his first year in practice working in a busy 24 hour hospital prior to joining Andersons.

 

Keauno has a General Practitioner Certificate in Ophthalmology and routinely takes referrals from nearby practices for more complex ophthalmology cases. He also enjoys surgery and is able to offer laparoscopic dog neutering as well as other advanced procedures via a minimally invasive technique (key-hole approach).  Keauno is a registered government vet (official veterinarian) allowing him to authorise exports for travelling pets, including Animal Health Certificates and Export Certificates. 

 

 

Outside of work Keauno enjoys playing football, going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Charlotte Whitfield BVSc MRCVS

Charlotte graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2022 where she developed a strong passion for small animal veterinary medicine. Prior to this Charlotte undertook a degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Southampton. Charlotte enjoys all aspects of clinical practice but has particular interests in cardiology and emergency and critical care.

 

In her spare time Charlotte can be found back at home with her family and she is enjoying being a new aunty! Charlotte loves taking her family dog Ted for long walks in the Essex countryside, cooking and baking as well as watching medical dramas. 

Dr Rebecca Woodall BVMBVS BVMedSci MRCVS

Rebecca graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2024 and started her career at Anderson Vets shortly after. She is a cat lover with interests in cardiology and soft tissue surgery.

In her free time, she enjoys playing badminton, going for walks and spending time with family, including her cat Pixel.

Dr Ring Cheung

Ring graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2021 and has worked with small animals ever since. She enjoys meeting owners in the consult room and has a special interest in cats, she is particularly looking forward to starting her certificate in feline medicine! In her free time, she enjoys cooking, eating and taking nice long walks. She has two cats named Ricotta and Twiglet. 

Registered Veterinary Nurses

Angela Thacker - Head Nurse

Angela started in Veterinary practice in 1998 becoming a qualified registered veterinary nurse in 2003. Angela has a keen interest in emergency work and holds a certificate in emergency and critical care.

 

Angela came to work here at Orpington in 2020 and is now our Head Veterinary Nurse.  As well as her two dogs Angela also owns 2 cats. 

Ellen Harmsworth

Ellen qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in December 2019 and joined the team at Andersons Orpington in November 2023. 

 

Ellen enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Nursing but especially enjoys in patient care and nurse clinics. 

 

Ellen loves all animals but has a particular fondness for Labradors (of course including her own golden oldie Labrador Harley) and also for the two Beagles who she lives with called Monty (as pictured) and Radley. 

Joanne Fysh-Foskett

Jo qualified as an RVN in 2002 and achieved a post graduate certificate in Anaesthesia and Critical care in 2011. Jo enjoys all aspects of Veterinary nursing including the training of student nurses. Before joining Andersons Jo spent a year volunteering at a wildlife charity caring for a wide range of different animals.

Laura Reynders

My name is Laura, I’m a Registered Veterinary Nurse who qualified in 2018. I went to City and Islington College in Central London, where I qualified with my diploma. I’ve also completed my clinical coaching course, to where I can help future nurses with their portfolios, in order for them to qualify.

My main interests within my profession are surgical/ Anaesthesia nursing, however I also enjoy nursing hospitalised patients, as I find it very rewarding to see them improve from the treatment we provide them.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, travelling, seeing friends and also spending time with my cat Hazel.

Natalie is a qualified VCA who has been working with us since 2019. Natalie is looking forward to progressing to become a Veterinary Nurse. Until she finally decides what puppy (or two) she would like to get, her time is taken up by four guinea pigs.

Katie is currently training as a VCA , she would also like to progress to become a Veterinary Nurse. Katie enjoys working with all the animals visiting the practice however Chihuahuas are her favorite.

Jess Healy

Jess is currently training as a VCA and would like to progress and train to become a veterinary nurse one day. Jess enjoys a cuddle with the animals that come into the practice but she most enjoys cuddles with her cat, Narla (as pictured).
