Your pet will be seen as a priority on arrival. Please call ahead rather than simply turning up — this helps us be ready for you.

Signs that need urgent veterinary attention

If your pet is showing any of the following, call us immediately.

  • Difficulty breathing or choking
  • Collapse, unconsciousness, or seizure
  • Suspected poisoning or toxic ingestion
  • Severe bleeding or deep wounds
  • Suspected broken bones or inability to bear weight
  • Bloated or distended abdomen (especially large dogs)
  • Urinary blockage — especially male cats who cannot urinate
  • Eye injuries or sudden loss of vision
  • Prolonged vomiting or severe diarrhoea
  • Signs of extreme pain or distress
  • Loss of balance or sudden weakness
  • Heatstroke — especially after time in a hot car or garden

If in doubt, always call. We would rather reassure you that everything is fine than have you wait too long.
